The first of what might be many…

31May10

Today, over at This Magazine, there’s a new podcast online. It’s an interview with Barbara Freeman, a professor at Carleton University, about her research into the Abortion Caravan Campaign of 1970. It’s been 40 years since the campaign made some noise, and we looked back at the whole experience.

Barbara presented her work yesterday at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences in Montreal.

This podcast is the first of several stories I will be telling from Montreal. There are thousands of stories to tell, too many for a lifetime, but I’ll try to give readers a window into the brilliance.
