WHO IS NICK?
From MediaScout (with some amendments):
Born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, Taylor-Vaisey lived a pathetically boring suburban life until, as Ottawa Bureau Chief for Canadian University Press and as a summer reporter for The Hill Times, he figured out that covering politics on Parliament Hill is far more exciting than reading about it over Cheerios.
Now a University of Ottawa graduate in political science, Taylor-Vaisey is an Ottawa-based freelancer. His stories have appeared in the Ottawa Citizen, Capital Xtra, University Affairs, This Magazine and Maclean’s OnCampus.
From 3strikes:
Nick is currently a freelancer who regularly contributes to Capital Xtra and University Affairs. He got his start in journalism as a sports and news editor for the Fulcrum, and was also the Ottawa bureau chief for Canadian University Press. He has interviewed university presidents in his underwear, takes leave of his office to watch 30 Rock, and has a love-hate relationship with Twitter.
