Making friends with enemies

I talked about how great Ed Broadbent, Bill Blaikie and Chuck Cadman were in a previous post. Here’s my question, which is quite simple:
Which sitting MPs have earned respect from all corners of the House?

Paul Dewar.
He’s highly respected by members from all corners of the House. Most recently you can see this in his founding of the All-party Arts Caucus, which was enthausiastically met by members from all parties. Also notable is his role as Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Prevention of Genocide.
Dewar, as well. He has worked very well on extremely thorny issues around foreign affaris and Afghanistan, and has the respect of friends and foes alike. He’s also by far one of the most effective MPs in committee.
Peter Stoffer. Enough said.
